International School Awards

International Dimension in Schools celebrates a school's effort to include international work as part of the curriculum and helps embed it within the school's culture. The programme supports schools in fostering an international ethos throughout the school and embedding it within the curriculum.

The International School Award (ISA) now called International Dimension in Schools (IDS) in India, was introduced in the year 2003

The British Council is the United Kingdom 's international organization for cultural relations and educational opportunities. Pragathi Central School was awarded International School Award for the years 2013 and 2016 and has been accredited with British Council for the period 2014 to 2017 and 2017 to 2020 for International School Awards (ISA) under the programme "Connecting Classrooms".

We are a part of the global school unity on British Council forum through which we are in touch with several ISA schools for educational, cultural and Co-Curricular exchanges. This gives our students that edge to be a global citizen.

In this academic year also our school has participated in the International School Awards and we conducted various activities embedding internationalism in our curriculum. Enthusiastic students of Pragathi enriched their learning experience at different levels like literary, art and craft, dance, music, robotics, ICT, culinary skills. Students got an opportunity to share their learnings with partnered school from outside India.
